About Lin
Lin wrote stories in junior high school with cowgirl heroines and horse heroes. In high school, she switched to cowboy heroes and published in Seventeen and Teenager's Ingénue magazines. Journalism was her major in college.

     She published in 101 Ways to Romance Your Marriage, Advanced Christian Writer, and The Good News Journal. She wrote Texas Elves for young children. 

     With Artie Stockton, wrote Stained Glass Windows in the Dark, a novel and audio novel, mystery/romance set in Mexico. The Writer’s Edge Service published their recommendation and endorsement of Stained Glass Windows in the Dark on page six of their March-May, 1996 catalog — before they started charging authors for their services. 

     She is an alumnus of Christian Leaders, Authors & Speakers Seminar (CLASS). In 1997, was on the faculty of American Christian Writers Conference and designated Writer of the Year in 1996 and 1998. Her non-fiction includes lessons for grades 1-6 for Lay Renewal Weekends, Discipleship Weekends, and Prayer Weekends.

     In 2010, she was one of five finalists in American Christian Fiction Writers' (ACFW) Genesis Contest-Young Adult category. Her professional growth includes Glorieta Christian Writers, Women Writing the West, Christian Booksellers Association. She was the first editor (2000-2003) of Write to the Heart, American Christian Romance Writers (now ACFW), and Lamplighter, Austin Christian Writers’ Guild, 1997-2003. 

     She co-founded the CenTex Chapter of ACFW and has served as their web mistress from 2008 to present. 

     She co-founded the Wolf Creek Christian Writers Network in 2015 in Pagosa Springs, Colorado and served as their web mistress from 2008 to 2019 and assistant web mistress 2020 to present.

     Her novella, The Lye Water Bride, is in Barbour Publishing’s California Gold Rush Romance Collection. 

     She published Mansion of Stolen Hearts (2018) and Treasure Among the Ruins (2017) for Winged Publications’ Forget Me Not Romances.

     She currently edits fiction and non-fiction for Elk Lake Publishing, Inc. and several freelance writers.
