Celebrating assisting Dan Kubelka in the development of Spirit of the Red Candle into the final movie script.

Currently, My first book in the Voices in the Desert series, Treasure Among the Ruins, set in New Mexico in 1926 featuring the Southwestern Indian Detour Couriers, was released by Winged Publications in December, 2016.


My novella The Lye Water Bride for Barbour Publishing’s California Gold Rush Romance Collection was released in August, 2016.


My contracted work-in-progress is Lost Memories, set in New Mexico in 1928. This is the second book in my Voices in the Desert Series featuring the Southwestern Indian Detour Couriers.


Escape from Outlaw Ridge — Book One in The Butcher Boys Chronicles for a university press is sent. This series is set in 1890 Iowa.


I’m waiting on word from a Christian publisher if they are going to accept a historical novel set in 1890 Kansas and California. In the meantime, I’m developing a series of four novellas based on this manuscript.


I serve on the advisory board for SCWA. I served as the President of the Southwest Christian Writers Association (SCWA) from 2010-2014 and as Treasurer from 2014-2015. SCWA serves Durango, Colorado, and Four Corners area, which includes writers from Farmington, New Mexico.


As a finalist in the Young Adult category of the 2010 American Christian Fiction Writer (ACFW) Genesis Contest, I encourage writers to take advantage of the writing contest being offered by reputable organizations.


I continue to do Content-Editing of manuscripts for members of the Wolf Creek Writers Network, SCWA, and CenTex-ACFW, and selected authors.


I am co-founder with Dorothy Featherling of CenTex-ACFW Chapter in Georgetown/Austin, Texas. I serve as their webmaster.


I am co-founder with Betty Slade and Richard Gammill of Wolf Creek Christian Writers Network in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. I serve on the WCCWN Advisory Board, and as their webmaster.


On January 20, 2014 gave a presentation to the Spunk and Spirit Chapter of Denver-ACFW via Skype. This was a new experience and I hope to refine my presentation by doing more Skyping.

My blog day each month was on the 27th, and my topics include, The Harvey Girls, Indian Detour Couriers, Women and Bicycles, Little Known Facts about Colorado, Women Prospectors of the Old West, Games and Toys, Keeping House in Old Texas, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Remarkable New Mexico Women, Chimney Rock, and Harper's Magazine in 1890's, and much more.
